To The Horizon…!!

Clasping the rails, I look through the window.

Hoping to see you, as I heard your voice.

My vision stretches to the horizon to find you.

Destituted of your glimpse, I turn around,

As I realize your voice was only a faint whisper from within.

I smile bearing filled eyes,

Feeling blessed to have heard  you.

My heart leaps out.

I see it scuffling and boiling,

Thirst for your presence.

I feel your fingers on my cheeks,

Wiping my tears, forcing to stop them.

I fail.

They rush out irrepressibly,

When I realize the fingers were mine...

I suppress my tears.

For my heart says your heart weeps with my eyes.

I smile again, & feel your heart smiling back.

Warmth spreads within, runs along my spine.

Reanimated and revitalized, my heart pops with joy;

Evoking your promise to come to me.

Clasping the rails, I look through the window again.

Heels raised, with throbbing heart, I look for you.

Because I know, I'll see you before I wither...!!
